Clifton Beach esplanade is framed by holiday homes and holiday apartments that overlook the Great Barrier Reef and the Palm lined sandy beaches. The area has a real laid back casual charm with no noise for distraction as not too much traffic travels thru here apart from the locals. In the mornings you will see the locals pacing it out in the sunshine with their family pets and they are always guaranteed to shout you a good morning.
There is quite a good but limited choice of restaurants in Clifton Beach but you do have a major shopping centre that has a supermarket, butcher, baker, chemist and much more. Palm Cove is the best place for a huge range of wining and dining options and just a short walk along the beachfront and you are on the Williams Esplanade where you will find bars, cafes and lot's of shopping.
