The larger than normal one and two bedroom air-conditioned holiday apartments with self contained catering and laundry facilities and a presentation of luxury you can afford. Your large private balcony lets you enjoy the balmy sea breezes and freshness that is so special at a tropical beach location.

The Golden Sands Resort is made up of one and two bedroom apartments; they are all very spacious and decorated with a tropical setting. All apartments have a sofa bed that can be pulled down into a double bed. The one bedroom apartment has a queen size bed with a few fixed rooms with a single bed also. The two bedroom apartments have a queen size bed and 2 single beds.

Golden Sands Resort is ideal for sporting enthusiasts. It offers a large freeform lagoon style salt water swimming pool a full size tennis court, table tennis, and basketball ring; the local golf course is nearby, or you can exercise those legs with a long walk along the sandy tropical Yorkeys Knob beach. The southern end of Yorkeys Knob beach ends with a small mangrove estuary spilling onto a sand bar where you can walk out into the ocean for hundreds of meters at low tide. This is a popular fishing spot where there is always a local or two to chat about fish and give you some great tips.
